When you walk in the door at Grace Story Church, you'll find a group of people who have found exactly that.
We're a Bible-saturated community that strengthens and nurtures families. Two-thirds of kids walk away from the faith after high school. We want a better future for ours, catechizing them in the historic faith and giving them a loving place to grow and know their Savior.
Our hope is to establish a clear and lasting witness to the glory of Christ, right here in Donelson. Join us on Sundays at 4pm and see why we love calling Grace Story home.

We are convinced that the family is at the center of God's mission. To put it plainly, the church exists to equip families, not the other way around. We choose home-based living (think homeschooling, plenty of margin, even the occasional chicken coop) so that we can attend to our children with the care this holy calling demands. In that way, we are preparing them for an enduring trust in what is true, and a lifetime of bringing good and beautiful things into the world.

The Bible only prescribes one method for discipling kids: teach them the Bible, especially the story of how God saves his people. We use the Cross Formed Kids curriculum to train our kids so that they can read fruitfully from every page of the Bible for a lifetime. Then, every other week, we enjoy family-integrated worship so that they can be trained from a young age to participate in the full life of the church. Most importantly, we equip every family with the tools they need to teach their kids the Bible effectively.

Formation is slow, ordinary work. We grow through the Word, the Table, prayer, and a shared life.
These same-sex groups of 3-6 meet twice a month over coffee, a meal, or dessert (or all three?), to discuss the most recent sermons in depth. Our hope is that everyone who participates in a Story Group would encounter Jesus in a transformative way.
